Piramit Construction Tourism Industry and Trade Co. Inc. has been founded in 1988 in Izmir as a general contracting and architectural design company to act in Turkish construction sector. In following years of its foundation Piramit has proven itself in the market with its quality by completing several housing and industrial building projects on design & build bases. Renovations of office buildings and hotels have become one of the well-experienced fields of the company during this period of time. The increasing demand in quality, utilizing new technologies and legislations in construction sector has forced Piramit to restructure and in last 10 years Piramit has added project management services and electrical design & installation works to its activity fields.
Increasing market shares of Turkish construction companies in international construction arena pushed Piramit to expand its activities in Germany and as service supplier for Turkish contractors in Russia, Afghanistan and Libya. This expansion had lead also to open a branch in Ankara in year 2001.
Construction contracts are being basically carried out by using Piramit’s own workforces. Depending on the nature of the projects subcontractors are also being used or joint ventures are developed.
Piramit’s project managers has gained significant experience by working with various authorities such as U.S. Army CORP’s of Engineers or UK Works Royal Engineers in various countries such as in Germany or Afghanistan with different specifications such as Libyan, U.A.E.’s or Turkish regulations. The young and dynamic managing stuff of the company is enough flexible to reshape the company according the fast changing market conditions. Experienced technical stuff is always following the new developing techniques, construction machinery and materials.
